AMC 14 Theater Multiplex: This will be a movie theater with stadium seating.
Rainforest Cafe: The other chain restaurant coming to Downtown Disneyland. Unlike the one in Florida, hopefully this will feature some of Disney's Audio-Animatronics. This restaraunt features a rainforest type environment dining area as well as a themed store. At Rainforest Cafe, the bar is shaped like a mushroom and the restaurant features a giant waterfall, giant fishtanks, and a rainstorm ever half hour. I heard the Imagineers were in on this one too so that it could be better than the neighboring one. Also, unlike other Rainforest Cafe's, this one will feature a glass domed section which features small mammals and exotic wildlife and plants.
Cirque du Soleil: I had heard something about this going in, but I'm not sure. This is also featured in WDW, Orlando Florida.
ESPN Zone: This is a sports themed restaurant sponsered by ESPN that I don't know much about. This one is owned by Disney.
House of Blues: This is a night club featuring different performers and concerts each week.
Wolfgang Pucks: This upscale restaurant was to be featured in Downtown Disneyland. Now it occupys Avalon Cove inside the park instead.
La Brea Bakery: This is a small 2 story restraunt serving salads, sandwiches, etc.
Naples Ristorante and Pizzeria: This is a fancy italian restaurant.
Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen: This is a sit down New Orleans style restaurant with live jazz performances.
Y Arriba! Y Aribba!: Your guess is as good as mine.
Planet Hollywood: This is a restaraunt themed after the movies of Hollywood. This one has been taken off the list due to the fact that Planet Hollywood is doing really bad at this time. Their service is bad also from what I can remember from my visit. I find it to be very peculiar that it was taken out because it was going to be the marquee of Downtown Disney.
Disneyquest: This is a giant indoor amusement park featuring virtual amusements such as Virtual Reality and video games. One of the neatest things her is CyberSpace Mountain. At CyberSpace Mountain, you first design your own unique roller coaster, then you step into a motion simulator and test your creation, loops and all. This, I am very excited about. This one is getting put on hold, due to the fact that nobody wants to pay 20 bucks to enter an arcade. I heard they may wait to see what happens at their next 2 locations.
