Stay with Jesus
   Do not run ahead and lose
The best that He would give to thee
   If thou but let Him choose.

   The strength that makes God's man.

   Wait patiently today;
He is working His best for thee.
   He is the proven Way.

   He giveth sweetest song.

Stay with Jesus.
   Lie calmly upon His breast;
For in the fullness of His grace
   Thou shalt find His perfect rest.

Stay with Jesus
   In His presence now abide;
For according to His riches in glory
   Thy need He will provide.

Stay with Jesus.
   Fret not thyself nor sigh;
For to them who walk uprightly
No good thing will He deny.
