on this cold dark Hallows eve night


WAIT shhhhhhh...

did you hear that?

whew........

It's only the storm
for a second I thought I heard them

who are they you ask ?

I will be getting to that
but I will start from the begining
It was a few years back

on a night much like tonight
but I remember it like it was yesterday

I was coming home from work
and it was twilight time
as I passed the cemetary
I swore I saw a set eyes glaring out at me

I didn't think man nor beast would be out on a night like this
I stoped and squinted my eyes to get a better look.

but it was no use they were gone

I thought to myself that it had to be my eyes playing tricks on me

I was very tired and it was raining
so I started to walk again
chuckling to myself thinking what a fool I had been

but I just couldn't help myself
I had to stop and to take another look
to ease my mind a little you might say

but all of a sudden I caught a glimps of it again !!

and then another one!!!
I was really scared now !!!
I started to run !!
knowing there was more then one
thinking who knows how many there is
hiding there behind the stones

I tripped and fell !!!
I was so scared I fell again trying to get up !!!
Then I could hear them !!!!
and ooooh the noises they made !!!!
it was enough to make my skin crawl
and what made it worse was

I could tell they were getting closer !!!

it even gives me goosebumps thinking about it now
I finnaly got up
I really started to run now !!

I got a look over my shoulder !!!

and I got a good look at them !!!

what hideous monsters !!

They had Horns and tails

and the noise it was terrible
I could see my neighbor's house just up ahead

I couldn't run any faster
and they were gaining on me fast!!!!!

I stumbled again !!
thinking I was gonna be a goner this time for sure
but I didn't fall
"WHEW"
but they managed to get a little closer
I tried to make up for my stumble
but that wasn't happening I was allmost there
I thought if I could just make it I would be fine
I got to the lawn

no lights were on !!!

no car in the driveway!!!

I kept running my house was next
I jumped through my neighbors bushes and scratched my face
ran accross the driveway onto the front lawn
I looked behind me

there they were right behind they could allmost reach me !!!

some how I managed a couple of extra long leaps and made it to my door
I threw it opened and jumped in

slamed it shut and locked it !!!

thinking they would never come into the house

"well I hoped"
I backed away from the door

I could hear them just outside
some how they seemed louder now then ever !!!!!

they were banging on the door!!!
my kids looked at me in shock covered in sweat,dirt and blood
my son went for the door
that was it I screamed
and yelled don't open the door
but it was to late the door was slowly being opened I leaped accross the room
to try and slam it shut
I fell over the table
I thought this was it this is the end
I could still hear all the noise I looked up
as the door got all the way opened
there they were the horrid little beasts
screaming and chanting at the top of there lungs !!!!!!

after all this time

I can still remember what they were chanting
it still gives me nightmares !!
