CUT AND PASTE FROM TEXT:
"O.K. here it is real plain and
simple....
1) Locate the CMD key(bottom left keybord).
Now while
holding down CMD push the letter F. F=find,
use this to
locate a starting point on the page you want
to
copie.
Practice here....find the word
"O.K." bye
using step 1. if you typed it right, it
should have
higlighted the first "O.K." word on this
page.
2)
Now while holding the shift key you can arrow
over, or
down, is faster to highlight everthing you
want to
copie..
3) When everyting is
highlighted you want
to hold the CMD key and depress C.
4)
C=copie, you
will here the famous clickable chirp, if you
have copied
successfully...
5) And last of all
you would like
to paste your copie somewhere, say reply or
foward.(i use
this process to copie HTML codes and bring
them to my
signature, no typos thata' way.)
6)
Once your
where you wanna paste it, depress the CMD key
and push V.
7) V=paste, for some reason or another.
Keep in mind you can only CMD C one item at a
time, and I
think there is a limit on the size..... Also
I cannot get
urls to copie, that you will need to add to
the page if
there is an attachment.... .ever notice what
happens when
you just hold the shift key and arrow
over???? It
highlights the same way...but CMD F will
allow you to
highlight somthing on a page you cant get to
normally....
Have fun and send loads
of mail with
out the disturbance of down
scrolling....lol
Your friends will love ya
RIX"
CUTTING AND PASTING WEB PAGES, SOUNDS,
IMAGES,
ETC:
"Yo big daddy Rix here......You got the sound
to
work.....Great....Heres a page to add some
REAL AUDIO to
your text, if you want....You used a .MIDI
file...Those
work but REAL AUDIO is the bomb(when its not
choppin
up)......save this page and you can choose
any song from
it, Heres how.....
(1) 'Click' on the song you want....
(2) Use your "GO TO" button (top right) to
find the
address of the song you chose.
(3) When the screen pops up 'click' on "SHOW
LAST"
(4) Then Highlight the whole address that
appeared by
simply holding down the "SHIFT" key and
arrowing over the
entire address......NOTE if you let go of the
shift key,
you'll have to start over.
(5) Once you have the entire addee
highlighted you want to
copy it...Find the "CMD" button(bottom left
of
keybord)..Press and hold this button while
strikeing the
letter "c"...NOTE if done correctly you will
here the
classic 'chirp'.
(6) O.K. now were gettin somewhere....next is
the tricky
part....You have saved the addee (or whatever
you
highlighted) to you memory...now you can
travel with it.
Memory can only hold one highlighted item at
a time. Use
the "CMD" button and the letter "v" to paste
you clipping
in you signature, or e-mail, or anywhere you
want to....
(7) In this case it's the addee for your
music so
highlight it, save it, and paste it in your
signature.....NOTE wherever your cursor is
when you push
"CMD" "v" it will print it there....so make
sure your
lined up in you sig. where you want
it......
(8) SNAP A COLD BEER AND CELEBRATE!!!!!!!!
YOU JUST
LEARNED HOW TO CUT
AND PASTE WITH RIX ON YOUR
WEBTV.......
(9) advanced option.......This is
tricky......Say your in
a webpage that you want to copie and there is
no curser to
highlight the text you want copied.....Locate
your "FIND"
button (top right) strikeing this key pops up
a "WORD
SEARCH"... now type the word that you want to
start your
highlighting process with.(for
example.....Say you wanted
to copy all of lesson (9) on this page.....go
to find and
type "(9) Advanced". This will auto highlight
(9) advanced
for you.
To continue to
highlight(member "shift"
and arrow over or down is faster."
(10) hmmmmm..... Now say you got the word (9)
advanced
written on the page three times.....the puter
will auto
highlight the first one on the page then you
just use
"CMD" and "g" to choose which (9) advanced
options you
want to copy......
Easy as pie my friend......I use this to copy
e-mail
fowarded from 50 ppl...this pastes it fresh
on "MY" own
new page.......woooo hoooooo
Also excellent for copying HTML tags...No
typos that
away.....
