I used to get into more trouble in school and elsewhere by being the cut up and "Class Clown". Regardless of how things may have been in my own life, I found that by joking and making people laugh helped ease any tension, and momentarily releave any angish I was going through.

Some of our best known, and, funniest comics were themselves very shy and troubled in their personal lives.

The wit of Will Rogers, and the antics of Jonathan Winters, Tim Conway, and any others like them along with the teams of Martin & Lewis, Abbot & Costello, Laurel and Hardy, etc., will continue to brighten our lives so long as we can read them in print or see them in TV re-runs.
