A note from Shayna
I was watching the show " Touched By An Angel" It happens to be one of my favorite shows:) and in one particular episode, they did a rendition of this song. It touched me and Inspired me to do this page. Simplistic in design or so it may appear, but strong in the message that I feel this page delivers.......with both the song and the childrens' faces.......
Don't you think it's time that we all get along?
Let us do what we can to rid the world of prejudice, and of terrorism. To accomplish this, we must join hands and stand united as one,
Only then, can we truly live together in peace.....
This
must be done....for our sake, our childrens' sake
And for
those yet to be born..... I hope to see this realized in
my lifetime. What about you? Join me please.....Let those who perished,
constantly be a reminder to us of how fragile each precious life is and of the
importance of living each day to its fullest ...in peace and harmony. We must do this, so that they will
not have died in vain. This will be our gift to them. Let There Be Peace On Earth, And let
it begin ..... With
