Camoflaging Equipment

Equipment to Camoflage

When camoflaging your rifle, pay close attention not to mess with the rifle's action or change the sights. Also, after camoflaging, re-zero your rifle. Also, do not let anything touch the barrel. The stock can be painted or "ghillied", that is, camoflaged like a ghillie suit. The M-16 and M-14 can also be camoflaged the same way.

Optical gear, such as binoculars and spotting scopes, also need to be camoflaged with paint or ghillied.

Web gear can be camoflaged by adding netting and ghillied, and spray-painted to tone down lighter spots.

It is important to camoflage all gear and equipment and make it match the colors of your clothing and ghillie suit. Also, belt buckles and the like have to be toned down to prevent shine. Contact me if you have any questions, comments, or tips.
