CHRIS HESS from Switserland got some help of a few famous Christian Rock musicians such as DANN HUFF and RICK CUA. I don't know when his only (?) Cd was released, but it must be somewhere around 1991/1992.

Musically it is not really heavy, but still nice calmer AOR/Poprock in the style of guys like RICK CUA, JOHNNY MARKIN, KENNY MARKS, BRIAN SPENCE... Good example is the opening track "Heaven cries". The next track "Reach for the sky" is sounding very good. This is a slowtempo AOR song like CHRIS MANCINI, DWAYNE FORD and RICK CUA. The next 3 songs are a little bit softer, but still songs like "Looking for me" and "Out in the ashes" are nice AOR Ballads like RICK CUA.

In the second part of this CD we can hear some uptempo rockers such as "Can't wait another day" (nice poprocker like RICK CUA, KENNY MARKS, BRIAN SPENCE...) and "Open up my eyes" (best song of the CD, a great AOR-rocker like the classic RICK CUA (circa 'Wear your colors)). Further there is a soft ballad callled "Heart of gold" that sounds like a mix between KURT HOWELL and DESMOND CHILD on his last solo album. The last two tracks on the CD are pure pop.

Concluded this CD is only for the fans of calmer AOR, still almost all the songs feature some brilliant guitarsolos from Dann Huff. Recommended if you like any of the mentioned acts.
