INFO STRUTTER'ZINE ISSUES:

STRUTTER'ZINE IS A FANZINE/MAGAZINE (PRINTED ON PAPER AND ON THE INTERNET) FROM HOLLAND, WRITTEN IN ENGLISH THAT IS ENTIRELY BASED ON AOR, MELODIC ROCK, PROGRESSIVE ROCK, POWER METAL AND RELATED STYLES. IT ALL STARTED AROUND 1994 WHEN THE GRUNGE SCENE RULED AND REAL ROCK AND ROLL HAD JUST BEEN PRONOUNCED DEAD. HOWEVER IN THE NETHERLANDS THERE WAS ONE GUY WHO DID NOT LIKE THAT FACT AT ALL AND THEN STARTED A MAGAZINE CALLED STRUTTER MAGAZINE. IN THE YEARS TO FOLLOW THE MAGAZINE DEVELOPED ITSELF TO BECOME A POPULAR READ AMONG REAL ROCK AND ROLL FANS AND IN THE LATER 90S THE WEBSITE WAS A BLESSING TO REACH EVEN MORE FANS AND NOW 12 YEARS LATER STRUTTER MAGAZINE IS STILL ALIVE AND WELL. HOPING TO BE AROUND FOR ANOTHER 12 YEARS!

ALL THE REVIEWS, INTERVIEWS, STORIES (everything to be exact) IS WRITTEN BY GABOR KLEINBLOESEM, EDITOR OF STRUTTER MAGAZINE. EXCEPT WHERE NOTED!

Our past-issues are put on hold for the moment, because the website and this magazine are taken so much time that I can't produce another magazine. However, if you visit this website you can see loads of reviews and stories of AOR from the past. Including lots of very unknown and undisovered AOR classics from the past such as THE HEAT ('Westend story'), RATHSKELLER, CRYSTAL, MUGGS, DAVID KENT, RON BOLTON BAND, VICTORY GROUP, PAUL GODFREY BAND etc. etc.

As for the past-issue, maybe someday in the future new issues will appear. Still there a few copies left of old past-issues. Past-issues 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are no longer available. Past-issues 7 and 8 are still available for the price of 2 I.R.C. or $2 or 2 EURO. Below I'll describe in brief what's in these issues.

And there appear over 400 (!) new CD and Demo Tape - reviews. Although a lot of them are printed on our Latest Reviews Pages, there are still some reviews that can't be found here. Besides that, the issues contain a nice lay-out and there are at least 100 pictures/CD-covers in every each issue. You can buy the issue if you sent $5 or 5 EURO to our address.

Remember we are a non-profit fanzine that is only there to promote AOR/Melodic Rockbands that deserve to become known and to let people know of these bands. We only want to help the bands and the public about this musicstyle. We only ask you to sent us money, so we can sent the issues to you, because the postal costs are very high these days. We don't make any profit with this and do NOT want to make any profit. The money is only needed to cover the (extremely) high postal costs and the print costs we make. So, sent the money to above mentioned address and you receive a copy of issue 21.

If you know a band or are in a band that is playing AOR, MELODIC (HARD) ROCK, Progressive/Sympho Rock, Power Metal or POMPROCK, sent us your material to the following postal address:
