Welcome to the USS Mariner. She is the first of her class - Mariner. She is the flagship of the Galaxy Exploartion Division. She has 25 decks, 12 to her saucer section and 13 to her engineering hull. Her maxim crew capacity is 175. She is not equipped to take families or civilians but she has a few civilian crewmembers. She is 12,500 feet long, and weighs in at 2 million metric tons. She has lifepods, which measure 3 by 3 by three. She carries 4 shuttles and one runabout. Her construction was hurried along so she could help fight the Dominion war. Modifications were made to allow her to be an excellent warship as well as a science vessel. She is equipped for deep space missions with at maxim of eight years between bases. The ship is equipped for saucer separation and landing procedures. There is also room for a cloaking device should one ever be needed. Her warp nacelles are variable geometry nacelles. The mariner is fitted with bio-neural circuitry and metaphasic shielding. Her maxim cruising warp speed is 9point976 but in an emergency, she can travel at nine point 9 point 92 for a few minutes. The Mariners design is a cross between Galaxy, Nebula, Intrepid and Excelsior with a few new designs and modifications. She carries the firepower of a galaxy class ship. All space that sounds unaccounted for is labs and workspace.
