Chris Farley


Chris Farley was born on Febuary 15, 1965 in Madison, Wisconsin. As a child he was the typical class clown often describing himself as “The Teachers Nightmare.” After graduating from Edgewood Highschool he majored in Communication and theatre at Marquette University.
Chris worked many odd jobs he was a camp counselor, employee at Madison Scotch Oil Company, and then finally broke into acting when he was accepted in the Ark Improv Group ( past member of this group are John Belushi and John Candy). Chris started working at the Chicago Second City Theatre after that and he was scouted by Lorne Micheal during one of his acts. Chris first appeared during the 1990-91 season.
He was known for his really enerjetic characters such as Matt Foley, The Chippendale Dancer, and the self hating host of the Chris Farley Show.
He was quickly picked up to play parts in shows he started out with a bit part in Waynes World in which he played a security guard. He then showed up in four more bit parts them being in Coneheads, Airheads, Waynes World 2, and Billy Madison.
Chris starred in his first feature film in the 1995 film Tommy Boy in which he starred with his Satuday Nightlive buddy David Spade. He then went on to star in three more films Black Sheep, Beverly Hills Ninja, and Almost Heroes. The last film he appeared in was a bit part in Dirty Work.
Chris died on Dec. 17, 1999 of a drug overdose, he was 33.
