Evil rulers
We have all types of excuses for what is going on in the world today; from we have to balance the budget to elect a new president. The Bible gives us an idea of why we have evil rulers.
Joh: 14:30: Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
The prince of this world is Satan. This is a hard statement for the flesh to accept. The new spirit that the Lord put in us is taught the things of God by the Holy Ghost. Natural man cannot accept the things of the Lord only the things of the world. Natural man claims that man is basically good, but God says man is evil; we have to choose whom we believe. Natural man has a prince that sees nothing wrong with what he does either and that is Satan.
Joh: 14:16: And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Joh: 14:17: Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
The spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive because the world has no truth in it. The spirit of truth, not lies, is supposed to dwell within you, if he does not then sin is in the way. When you consider that the churches today are manipulating the word so that they can gain money and the legal system is a foundation of lies along with our political system. The leaders in all segments of our society believe they have a right to lie for their own good, which is Satanic. Satan was a liar from the beginning and these show their work.
The church leaders who manipulate the truth for their own needs are worse than any others since they are representatives of our Christ. Our legal and political systems are so corrupt that we cannot repair these, since we as Christians are compromised and our so called churches are using lies for their needs.
Da: 5:20: But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:
Da: 5:21: And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appointeth over it whomsoever he will
God appoints the rulers that he chooses, a good ruler is a blessing and a wicked ruler is a judgment against God's people. God's people are supposed to follow his laws. When we do not put God first in our lives God chastises us with a wicked ruler. When I say us, I mean God's children not the children of this world. The so-called Christian today is so compromised that we cannot even begin to see the light. We have placed money, possessions, power, and self before our Christ. We are given a ruler according to the heart of the people of the Lord. This is sad when you consider that our president is William Clinton at the time that I'm writing this book.
Da: 4:17: This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.
The Lord tells us that he sets in power the rulers of the world and that we are given a ruler according to the heart of God's people. God does not bother with Satan's children. He only chastises his own.
As a parent I took away the extras (TV, stereo, etc.) from my children when they were not doing their schoolwork. This helped them get back on track. My Lord has given us wicked rulers because we go to church on Sunday and listen to things against Christian principles. We pray to Mother Mary, to the heavenly host or so called saints, instead of our Lord. We put a priest or pastor equal to the word of God. We accept symbolic baptism as salvation and make the blood of Christ cheap goods that can be purchased with a reasonable some of money. We pay our tribute of dirty money that we received by overcharging poor people, elderly and of course let us not forget widows. The so-called Church today is not healthy in Christ but has taken the way of the world.
Joh: 16:2: They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
This has happened several times so far and we are far from done. This is a sad thing when people of the world think they are serving God by killing his children. This shows you that the children of the world believe they are OK. They just consider someone who follows Christ a radical or Right wing extremist. The world cannot understand where a true Christian is coming from. The truth does not reside in the world. The Prince of the world is Satan and he was a liar and a murderer from the beginning.
Eph: 6:12: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
This should be a warning to the believers in Christ that the world is not going to get along with Christians. We as Christians are not to seek a little heaven here on earth, but to live in this world without being worldly.
Joh: 2:13: And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
Joh: 2:14: And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
Joh: 2:15: And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
Why did Jesus become so angry at the sellers in the temple? This is the same thing that is going on today with churches throughout the world. The church has a priest, minister or pastor that is there for the members and should be giving out the word of God. Instead they are teaching church doctrines that God does not care about. They are busy building and saying they need more money to do God's work, but they aren't even teaching the word of God. Without the word of God being taught in our lives we have no reason to listen to a pastor or priest to here worldly things. It is of no value to support a church when you are going to end up in hell because you threw away Christ.
Joh: 2:17: And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
The so-called house of God has become more a house of the world than a house of my Christ. The churches today are made up of people and these people are choosing ministers that will give out the message that they want to hear. The sad thing is that they do not want to hear the truth in Christ but worldly things and traditions. The churches today are not teaching Christ, but self, by asking you to support them while they are not supporting the head of the church which is Christ. The most important thing in the body is the word and that is what should be taught in church. This is not reading scripture, but teaching how to live by the word and stand in the truth.
Joh: 3:19: And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Men would rather have darkness because they are not in the Lord. This is a sad thing because it shows you where the church is today. Calling for more money for things not pertaining to the Lord. The Lord wants us to get together and tell the great things he has done for us. Not get together for worldly things and say it is Christian. The temple of the Lord is the body and the Lord is not in a building, but in each of us.
Ac: 3:19: Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
Ac: 3:20: And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
Ac: 3:21: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
Ac: 3:22: For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
Ac: 3:23: And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
Repent ye therefore, and be converted. This is a strong statement that is being made. If we do not repent we are not converted and in the end will be destroyed from among the people. This Jesus cannot allow us to be just loved, we will also be judged and condemned for not accepting the blood for our salvation. If Christ is not first in your life, it does not matter what else you put first, you have a one way ticket and it is not to heaven. It does not matter if you serve your mother, spouse, or money. Only through putting Christ first can you get into heaven, everything and everyone else are all idols.
Joh: 5:8: Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
Joh: 5:9: And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
Joh: 5:10: The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.
The legal system was supposed to be a justice system but has always been misused since people are placed in charge. These people are not Christians and have not the concept of truth as their guide as the legal system shows in the results of our laws.
Many people today are so caught up in the law that they are willing to use it as a device to keep from caring about others. The law was intended to be for the good of people not for the opportunity to not help others. This is how man plays with God's laws and makes it impossible for those wanting to do right to find the way.
Joh: 5:16: And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.
These same people would help an animal on the Sabbath day but not a man. God never intended for them to use the law as a weapon against doing right. You see the world has a different value system than a Christian. We cannot meet the world on their terms of value we must follow our Lord.
Ac: 4:3: And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold unto the next day: for it was now eventide.
Ac: 4:4: Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.
Ac: 4:5: And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes,
Ac: 4:6: And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.
Ac: 4:7: And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?
Why did the rulers, elders and scribes arrest them? Were they causing problems? No!! The problem was that the rulers don't want to loose the gains that they have made. This was the rulers of the church also that were willing to get rid of Christ so their power and money gains would be safe.
Ac: 4:10: Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
Ac: 4:11: This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
Ac: 4:12: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
They were the ones that crucified Christ and screamed for him to be crucified because of the gains they might loose. Their love of self was so much that they could not stand seeing the truth in front of them. Jesus is the stone that the builders rejected and has become the head of Christianity.
Ac: 4:13: Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
Ac: 4:14: And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.
Ac: 4:15: But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,
Ac: 4:16: Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.
Ac: 4:17: But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.
Ac: 4:18: And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
Ac: 4:19: But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
The rulers knew about Christ and they realized that by Christ miracles had been done. You see only those that the Father calls can come to Christ. You cannot bring or show to those who are not called by the Father enough to make them choose Christ. The problem is the ones who are called are not obedient.
1Co: 6:1: Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?
Why are we as Christians not to go before the law? Could it be that the legal system is and always has been corrupt. Scripture says we should take a matter between Christians before the Church not to the courts. The legal system is based upon legalities, which render it useless in righteous judgment.
Ne: 9:37: And it yieldeth much increase unto the kings whom thou hast set over us because of our sins: also they have dominion over our bodies, and over our cattle, at their pleasure, and we are in great distress
All through the Bible the Lord shows us that he sets in power whom he will. We cannot change wicked rulers by voting only, but must begin with our own hearts since that is where the big sin problem is. God chastises his children so that they will turn to him again in repentance. We should consider what the Bible tells us and start implementing Christian standards in this life instead of making it so hard to tell the difference between the world and us.
We as the body of Christ are to spend our efforts in the way the Lord wants us to. This is best done while we are a light in this world instead of another dark spot. We are to live in the world but not be of the world. When we put belief in a political party instead of our Lord we will suffer the consequence for it. We must first serve Christ and then we will be able to do our best in politics or the legal systems of our nation. We must remember who is our master and then we will be able to see if we have any Christians in these areas. We as Christians should stand out from the world in all areas not sell our Christ out for these areas.
Lu: 3:12: Then came also publicans to be baptized, and said unto him, Master, what shall we do?
Lu: 3:13: And he said unto them, Exact no more than that which is appointed you.
Lu: 3:14: And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.
When was the last time that you heard our government say that they were misusing our money and taking more than what they should. You see we have people in power who are not concerned about these ideals and our preachers are not standing against our legal or governing systems. We have laws to protect the guilty in place already since most of the elected offices are full of none believers. The churches are not allowed to speak against bad politicians or they loose their tax free status. Maybe our churches have too much wealth that should have went into the ministry so that they would not have to worry about taxes and could speak and lead people as they were supposed to. Our churches if they are the body of Christ would have to be obedient to Christ and not protect money, but the Christian principles. We are so busy making big buildings and calling them churches that we have too much money sitting their for the government to go after.
Our teachers are to speak against wicked rulers as our Lord did. When our leaders are leading us astray for their own gain they are in a rough place in this life. The Lord warns that they will pay a high price for this and we should consider what we are here to serve.
Lu: 3:19: But Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him for Herodias his brother Philip's wife, and for all the evils which Herod had done,
Lu: 3:20: Added yet this above all, that he shut up John in prison
This is just like today, a ruler is ok with the ministry as long as we don't point their way. That is not how a Christian works though, John pointed out about Herod's sins and Herod put John in prison rather than repent his sin. Man likes his sin and our Lord will judge man for these things.
Lu: 4:5: And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
Lu: 4:6: And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
Lu: 4:7: If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
Lu: 4:8: And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Jesus did not say the devil was lying when he claimed to have all the kingdoms of this world and the power of them. If this isn't a testimony of who we have in charge of our government nothing is. The Lords answer was that we are to worship God only, not the money in our church or to turn from the Lord for serving our self. Our Lord did not go around setting up wealthy buildings he went and gathered his sheep. Our Lord taught in fields and homes, maybe we should do the same if we have to much in a building to allow us to say the truth of what our government is doing. We as the body of Christ must stand on Christian grounds for our Lord, otherwise we are not of the body of Christ but of the world.
Lu:4:44: And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee.
Our Lord preached in the churches at that day also. Our Lord was born a Jew. He taught in the Jewish churches the principles of God. The leaders of the church were the ones that lead the mob to crucify Christ. These churches were not following God when they crucified Christ.
Lu: 5:17: And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
The law was the mosaic law that was sent from God and these leaders of the political and religions of the day were present and the Lord would have healed them, but it doesn't say they were healed because they preferred their power over the people more than they cared for Christ. Those today that are the same will not be with my Lord in the end, but they will be with the prince of this world. These were religious leaders that opposed Christ just like we have it today. The body of believers is not made of denominations but individual believers that are willing to be counted for the Lord.
Lu: 5:18: And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.
Lu: 5:19: And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.
Lu: 5:20: And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.
Lu: 5:21: And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone
The religious rulers of the day came to find fault with my Lord. Isn't that just the way of this world? A bunch of people with too much gain from the ministry can't follow the Lord or they will loose their power and money that they have acquired, so they stand against the Lord and will be judged for it.
Lu: 6:7: And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.
Lu: 6:8: But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.
Lu: 6:9: Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?
Lu: 6:10: And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
Lu: 6:11: And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.
The religious rulers of the day were trying their hardest to find things to punish Christ for. This was their savior that they were supposed to be teaching people about and instead when he came they went and tried to see is they could get rid of him. As in too many cased the ones in the church are there because of it being a good job, fair money, etc. when the real reason should be to serve Christ.
There are a lot of fine teachers of the word out there, and people, make sure that you get one. You owe it to yourself and family to know your Christ, do not let a religious leader take that away.
Lu: 7:36: And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat.
Lu: 7:37: And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,
Lu: 7:38: And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.
Lu: 7:39: Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner
You see the world judges by the appearance of the flesh, while a Christian ways the spirit within. This will lead you to a different path than that which is normally accepted by people, since most people are following the world.
Eph: 6:11: Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph: 6:12: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Spiritual wickedness in high places means exactly what it says. Look at the rulers of this world and say they are following God. They are not and this is so easy to see. All we have to do is admit the truth in order to start understanding the truth.
Eph: 6:13: Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Eph: 6:14: Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
The bible says stand, we do not have to gain ground but stand in our faith. This is all we have to do and we have not done very well.
Eph: 6:15: And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Eph: 6:16: Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Eph: 6:17: And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
When you eliminate the word of God, the sword of the spirit is not there. The sword is our defense against all, and we don't want it. This should not be a Christian view point to not want to know about the Lord since it takes some of our precious time.
Ph'p: 2:15: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
We are to shine in a perverse nation, not hide so the world cannot tell who we are. The world is going to hate you if you are obedient to Christ. This world does not want to hear the truth and would rather kill the messenger than to change their ways. We are to be a light in this world and a light shines brightly. We are not to be a spot light and point to people of this world and tell them they are going to hell, but like a candle, a light that shines so the lost can find the way.
1Tm:1:9: Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
1Tm:1:10: For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
The law was not to be done away with, but to be used as a method of ruling for the ungodly. Those who are without sound doctrine cannot live above the law but are to be judged by the law. A Christian lives above the law and cares for others, so the law is not required to keep them from wickedness. Those who do not follow the truth need the law to judge them since they do not care for others but only themselves. This is what has become of our rulers and religious leaders today. The law is needed to judge them for what they have done contrary to the good of all of man. The political, legal and religious leaders today are living in a world that they have bent the law so they are not punished for the same things they will judge another for.
The Mosaic Law is needed for all of our rulers today and this is ashamed when you consider that the law is for unholy, liars, murderers and disobedient to God. This does not say much for our political, legal and religious rulers.
1Tm: 4:1: Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1Tm: 4:2: Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
1Tm: 4:3: Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
We even have religions that forbid to marry and abstain from meats, which is contrary to the word of God. We must prove all things by the Bible in order to learn the truth. Natural man does not desire the truth, but lies, and we must overcome our fleshly desires to become obedient in the spirit. We as Christians cannot allow our leaders to tell us what is correct, when they are so far from the truth that the law condemns them already for there actions, but they are able to stand without punishment because of their power. This is a sad thing since the Lord gives rulers according to the heart of his people. This means we as the body of Christ are not in the truth. We would rather hear lies than our Lord
2Tm: 3:1: This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2Tm: 3:2: For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
This sounds a lot like we are today, men would rather care about themselves than seek the living God. We find people who have no care for the laws that God has given us and a lot of these are rulers in our society today. We can see sports stars, senators and presidents getting by with murder. We watch rulers of other countries tell lies and receive rewards, such as financial, medical or military aid from their own kind. Our own country is supporting some of this. Is it the rulers or is it us who God wants to become obedient to Christ.
2Tm: 3:3: Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
2Tm: 3:4: Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Our whole country could fall under this description of lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.
2Tm: 3:5: Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
We have rulers who are saying that they are Christian and concerned about the standards that the Lord has set while at the same time they are removing the Ten Commandments from government buildings and God from school. They are saying that it is OK to be gay, it's just liberal. All people are born in sin, in the wall of the pit going to hell and we as Christians were given a pardon by Christ who paid our way, and we think everyone in the world is the same as we are. God gave us rules by which we can see what is true and it is time to use these.
2Tm: 3:7: Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
We have tried to prove using science, knowledge and worldly understanding and still it is only when God calls that we can come to Christ. We do not have the truth in our own lives, how can we expect any more from the world that can never learn enough to find the answer that God gives when he calls his own.
2Tm: 3:13: But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
We have a government, a legal system and religious system in this country that is going further and further from the truth. They are going home and we are not to change them but to change us. We must come to know the truth and seek our Lord with all our heart and all our soul in order to find the answers that we need today.
Ti: 1:1: Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;
With this in mind consider our representatives and what they said they were going to do for the people of this country. If that does not wake you up consider our senate and what they have done. Then consider the Supreme Court and what they have done. Now consider what your president has done and then look at your church. Have you stood against the wickedness of this world or is your church worried most about their tax-free classification. Are you willing to serve the living God or protect your churches money? If your church has this much money maybe the purpose of your church is not the word of God, to stand and implement the word, but instead to serve self.
Ti: 1:10: For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:
Ti: 1:11: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
The circumcision are those who outwardly appear to be right with God but inwardly they are serving themselves and seeking gain. This is a lot like a church that you can receive forgiveness from for a sum of money, or a politician who is willing to cheat the country for their own gains in a voting area, such as getting a special project of theirs passed in order to vote for a bill that would have been good for the country. All of this politics is actually evil and wrong, just because we are used to doing something does not mean it is correct.
Ti: 1:16: They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
This is the most sickening thing that I can think of. These people who are not serving our Lord in anyway are professing that they know God. This is absurd, since their works show that they are following the prince of this world who is Satan. If we just say things like they are, we would see the truth easier. The body of Christ must begin to stand obedient and be counted, instead of fitting so well with this world that we cannot tell them apart. The Lord would have us be hot or cold rather than luke warm. Luke warm is worse than cold since you know Christ but will not choose him.
Heb: 6:18: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
Anyone who believes that they can be a Christian and practice the use of lies, cannot have the truth within them. It is impossible for God to lie and therefore we as Christians will have truth within us since God dwells within his temple, our bodies.
Heb: 10:16: This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them
Our leaders have no excuse today since God put his laws in the minds and the hearts of all people since the time of Christ. Debate and manipulation through lies and deceit are going to be judged and our government, legal and church leaders will suffer the greater punishment for their leading the Lords sheep astray. Every sin against each soul that is the Lord's will not go unpunished. Consider what your earthly father would do to someone who is stealing, raping or murdering his children, and then think what the living God is going to do to those who hated his children. Christ is not just love but righteous judgment and he will judge all those who have hated him.
We should consider praying more for our leaders due to the judgment that is going to fall on them. It is ashamed how many people fall into this category and Christ is merciful to his own, but will judge all the rest righteously.
