“April wake up.” Monique shook April who was sleeping. That day they were going to meet Hanson for the first time. “April c’mon we have to get ready.”
“Wha..huh” April said as she started to wake up.
“We have to get ready to meet Hanson.” She said getting up off the floor.
“Monique what are you talking about?”
“Don’t you remember that we are meeting Hanson today?”
“Wait a minute what is today’s date?”
“September 28th you know your 16th birthday. Also the date of Hanson’s concert and the one that we got backstage passes to. By the way HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” Monique got up and gave April seventeen birthday slaps.
“Ouch. Man I guess that all was a dream Mo.” Monique turned around to her.
“Huh?”
“I had this terrible dream. Wait it was a nightmare. Taylor had committed suicide and we had a candle light vigil.”
“Man that is a nightmare. Anyways Taylor is very much alive and we have to see him before we aren’t alive anymore.” Monique got up and went into April’s shower. After both had showered and April snapped back into reality they were off to see Hanson.
“Ok girls just wait here and Hanson will be out shortly.” A guy told April, Monique, and two other fans. Everyone was so excited to see them. Suddenly the door opened and the guys stepped in. April watched as Isaac and Zac came in. She waited about two more seconds and say Taylor step in the door. She had a huge smile on her face.
“Hi I’m Taylor and you are?” Taylor said when he came over to April.
“April. The show was great. You really know how to pump up the crowd.” She smiled at him. It was all a dream. She told herself. Everyone talked for a little bit and took a lot of pictures. The guys sang “Happy Birthday” to April.
“Well we have to be going. It was great meeting all of you.” Isaac said to them.
“Hey April, happy birthday.” Taylor said as they were leaving.
“Thanks.” She called back to them. The door shut and April turned to Monique. “Its true you know.”
“What is?”
“To the world you are one person, but to one person you are the world.” April walked out of the room with memories that would last a lifetime. She never again had that terrible dream.
