April and Monique were in April’s room typing out their 14th issue of their online newsletter Hanson High. Monique was sitting on April’s bed flipping through the newest edition of MOE (Hanson’s magazine). "Dude April I really can’t believe that we got BACKSTAGE PASSES. This is so unreal!" She said dropping the magazine and staring at the Hanson posters that wallpapered April’s room.
"Oh I know this is totally cool! Oh God I get to see my baby Taylor. Maybe he’ll be wearing that white shirt. Man he looks so fine in that thing." April was jumping up and down with thoughts of seeing Taylor in a tight white T-shirt. "OK enough thinking we gotta start working on the newsletter."
“Fine.” Monique said walking to April’s desk and started to work on her column. All of a sudden April’s mother screamed.
“OH MY GOD! TURN ON THE NEWS QUICKLY.” April got up and went to her television and turned on the channel seven news. She fell back onto her bed to where Monique had moved to. They watched a black body bag being carried from a house.
“What the hell is this?” April said. Then it went to a reporter as said “Taylor Hanson of the band Hanson was found earlier by littler brother and the drummer of Hanson, Zac. The time was four thirty this evening. He was found hanging in his bedroom which he shared with fellow band members Isaac and Zachary. He was hanging by the very backdrop that made Hanson famous. It was the yellow pansy that is in the “MMMBop” video. Now we bring you back to Tulsa, Oklahoma to the families home.”
“What kind of fucking practical joke is this?” Monique said with tears in her eyes.
“Shut up Mo!!!!!!!!” April screamed. Just as this was happening “I Will Come To You” acapella was playing in the background. Both girls were in awe they didn’t know what to believe. They just looked back at the television as Taylor’s bodybag went into a black van. Mackie was screaming at it telling Taylor to get up and it wasn’t a game anymore. Diana would try to get pull him back, but he just kept on running to the bag. Finally the police had to grab his arm. Zac was in Isaac’s arms both of them crying their eyes out. Walker was with Jessica, Avery, and baby Zoe holding them. April and Monique both had blank looks on their normally cheerful faces. It was the day that to them the music died. Everything was blocked out except the sounds coming from the CD player which was still playing “I Will Come To You.” It was on Taylor’s part at the end going “I will come to you oh oh oh oh I will come to you oooohhhh I will come to you.”
