Maggie pulled up to the office in her dark blue BMW at 11:55. The office was located in Orlando where Maggie lived and was close to her condo. She checked herself one more time in the mirror. When she stepped inside she walked up to the secretary.

"Excuse, I have a meeting with Donna Wright" Maggie told the women at the desk.

"Name"?

"Maggie Jones"

"Yes, have a seat Donna will be ready to see you in a few minutes"

"Okay thank you" Maggie said before taking a seat and soaking in the atmosphere around her.

In Donna’s large office all the members of the group were sitting around.

"Donna can you just remind me why we are even adding a member to our group"? Kevin asked.

"Yeah, and a female member at that" Nick added.

"Okay, well we took a pool with Backstreet Boys fans and found out that most of your fans are young females" Donna said standing up.

"Yeah and" A.J. said.

"Well I thought that it would be in the best interest of the group to add a female member…that way you would have a more diverse fan based" Donna said walking around her office.

"I just don’t understand…I mean we have already established ourselves as an all male group…won’t this just confuse the fans that we have"? Howie asked.

"I don’t think so…I mean I think some people just might be getting tired of all these quote unquote boy bands…this way Backstreet Boys will be different" Donna said.

"Well that does makes some sense," Brian said.

"Think about it boys, how many groups do you see now a days with 5 boys and 1 girl…hardly none" Donna said.

"That’s true," Kevin added.

"What about our name…will it still be Backstreet Boys"? Nick asked.

"Well no, it will change to just Backstreet" Donna answered.

"This is so weird…like will she be singing our songs"? A.J. asked.

"Yeah…we can just give her someone’s part in a song" Donna replied.

"Wait, I don’t even have that many parts in the songs on this album…I don’t know if I like the idea of me giving away my parts" Kevin said.

"Well maybe not you Kevin, like Brian or A.J." Donna said looking their way.

"Explain what you mean" Brian said.

"Okay for example…you all know that in some songs you have two parts, like in Larger Than Life Brian, A.J., and Nick sing two different times…well one of you could like give one of your parts to her" Donna said a little unsure about what she was even talking about.

"I think I get the idea," Howie said.

"Yeah, so when do we meet her"? A.J. asked.

"Oh darn that reminds me I told her to come down here at noon and now it is 12:17" Donna said walking over to her phone. She pressed a button and buzzed Liz the sectary.

"Liz can you let Miss. Jones in" Donna said.

Maggie felt butterflies in her stomach the minute Liz told her to enter Donna’s office. She opened the door very slowly and walked in to find 5 men sitting on couches and Donna standing next to her desk.

"Hi Maggie, sorry I made you wait" Donna said walking over to her.

"No problem" Maggie said in a very low voice.

"Okay let me introduce you to the boys" Donna said leading Maggie to the couches.

"Okay everyone I want you to meet Maggie" Donna said with a huge smile on her face. "Maggie this is Brian, Kevin, A.J., Nick, and Howie" Donna said pointing to the guys.

"Hi" Maggie said in a very sure voice. Even though she was so nervous she had a great way to cover it up.

All the guys said their hellos.

"Alright…Maggie have a seat please" Donna pointed to a seat next to A.J.

"Okay" Maggie said with a smile on her face.

"Well you probably figured it out, out of all the people who came and auditioned…we chose you" Donna said.

"Really…so everyone is cool with this"? Maggie asked looking at all of her future band mates.

"Pretty much" Kevin said.

"This is so cool, but I need someone to explain where I fit-in in this group" Maggie said.

After Donna and the guys explained everything to Maggie she signed some contracts.

"Okay, I have an idea since I have to let the press know about this and of course everyone is going to want to meet you…how about I schedule an appearance for you all on Total Request Live" Donna said.

"Yeah that sounds cool…lets just hope the fans get it" Brian said.

"Okay until then I am going to call Fatima and let her know that we have a new member and she needs to teach Maggie all the routines. Then I’ll tell both the vocal couches the news" Donna said.

"Wow…that sounds like a lot…when do I have to learn all this"? Maggie asked.

"I’m not sure, but soon…you’ll be going to the dance studio in New York tomorrow and meet Fatima" Donna said.

"Okay" Maggie said overwhelmed about everything Donna way saying.

"Well for the night how about we all go out for dinner…I mean if you are going to be in the group we want to know EVERYTHING about you" Howie said.

"Yeah, so how about we all meet at The Shake for dinner," Kevin said.

"You kids go…you need to get to know each other, I have to get everything prepared. Donna said.

"Okay" Nick said.
