Hello,My name is Joe Overly and I’m the pastor of Christ Community Church of Blackstone MA. I feel honored and humbled to take on the role as pastor of this church, and I’m looking forward to growing in the ministry here in this community. I was saved in 1979. I attended Bible College at Zion Bible institute in East Providence RI, and it was there that I met my wife, Coleen. We were married in 1984 and went to Northwest University in Kirkland WA to finish our bachelors’ degrees. Mine in Pastoral Ministries and Coleen’s in Behavioral Sciences. We have three grown children Kayla, Jeremy, and Kristin who all live and work in the Worcester area. I was a youth pastor at Calvary Temple in Holden Ma for five years, then the lead pastor of New Life Fellowship Assembly of God church in Charlton MA. In 1995 I was ordained by the Assemblies of God Church. Now that I’m the pastor here at CCCoB, I am excited to bring a message from God’s word each week to encourage believers and bring an awareness of who God is and what He is like to non-believers. If you are not attending a church at this time, would you consider coming out to visit us on Sunday mornings? We have a great group of people who are down-to-earth, genuine and have no pretense about them. We just want to know God and how to live for Him each day.
