A Prayer Before Meals

From forest and stream;
From mountain and field;
From the fertile earth's
Nourishing yield;
I now partake of Divine energy;
May it lend me health,
send strength and love to me;
Blessed Be.

A Morning Prayer

Bless this day,
Sun of firey light.
Bless this day,
Prepare me for the night.

Another Morning Prayer

Oh gracious goddess,
Oh gracious god,
Lend me health, strength and love
During this coming day.
Assist me with the challenges ahead.
Share your Divine wisdom.
Teach me to respect all things.
Remind me that the greatest power
is love. Blessed Be.

Evening Prayer

The moon illuminates the earth
With wondrous silver rays.
Illuminate me through the night
And through the sunlit days.

Invocation Before Sleep

Lady of the moon,
Lord of the sun,
Protect me and mine:
Now the day is done.

Sunrise Chant

Fire growing
Sun is glowing:
Glowing, flowing
Down on me.

To: The Sun

You who are the source of all power;
Whose rays illuminate the world;
Illuminate also my heart,
So that it too can do your work.

New Moon Chant

Silver flowing,
Pale moon glowing,
Growing, showing
Love for me.

Diana's Chant

Waxing, waxing, growing, growing,
Diana's love is flowing, flowing.
Waxing, waxing, flowing, flowing,
Diana's love is growing, growing.

To: The Moon

Hail, fair moon,
Ruler of the night,
Guard me and mine
Until the daylight.

Short Chant For Help

Divine mother,
Mother divine,
Show me the way,
Give me a sign!

Protection Chant

In this fateful hour,
I call upon my Lady with all her power,
And the sun with its brightness,
And the snow with its whiteness,
And fire with all the strength it hath,
And lightening with its rapid wrath,
And winds with their swiftness along the path,
And the seas with their deepness,
And the mountains with their steepness,
And the earth with its starkness,
And all this I place,
With my almighty Lady's strength and grace,
Between myself and the powers of darkness.

The Water Is Wide (lyrics to the song you're hearing)

The water is wide,
I cannot get o'er,
And neither have
I wings to fly.

Give me a boat
That can carry two,
And both shall row:
My love and I.

I leaned my back
Up against an oak;
I thought it was
a trusty tree.

But first it swayed,
And then it broke,
And so my false love
Did unto me.

Oh, love is handsome,
And love is kind,
And love is a jewel
When it is new...

But love grows old,
And wavers cold,
And fades away
like morning dew.

Invocation of Elements

Air, fire, water, earth,
Elements of astral birth,
I call you now, attend to me.
In the circle rightly cast,
Safe from phychic curse or blast,
I call you now, attend to me.
From cave and desert, sea and hill,
By wand, blade, cup and pentacle,
I call you now, attend to me.
This is my will, so mote it be.

Invocation of the God

Blazing god,
You who are the king of all,
Lord of the sun,
Master of all things wild and free,
Father of woman and man,
Protector of all;
Descend, I pray,
With your solar ray of power,
Upon my circle here.

Invocation of the Goddess

Gracious goddess,
You who are the queen of all,
The lamp of the night,
Creator of all things wild and free,
Mother of woman and man,
Protectress of all;
Descend, I pray, With your lunar ray of power,
Upon my circle here.

Circle Invocation

I conjur thee,
Oh circle of power,
That you be a boundary
Between the world of humanity
And the realms of the mighty ones,
A guardian and protector,
To preserve and contain the power
We shall raise within.
I bless and consecrate thee.

Release of Elements

Mighty ones of the -----,
We thank thee for watching,
And if go ye must,
Hail and farewell.

Morrigan Book Blessing

Harken as the witch's word
Calls the Lady and the Lord,
Moon above and earth below,
Sky's cool blue and sun's hot glow;
In this right and ready hour,
Fill these pages with thy power.
May no unprepared eye see
The secrets which entrusted be
To I who walk this hidden road
To find the hearthstone's calm abode.
Guardians from the four directions
Hear me and lend thy protection;
May those truths of earth and skies
Sheilded be from prying eyes.
But to the witches whose map this be,
May the way be plain to see
And, through all the coming ages,
May we find our home within these pages.
Blessed Be!
