Apparently, beach volleyball made some huge comeback in the early 90s because their are 3 NES games made about it. I can't believe that Nintendo had the guts to make another NES volleyball game after Volleyball. However these games are actually cool, (not as good as Superspike V'Ball, but still good.)
Well, it seems that Kings of the Beach grabs the upperhand in The graphics and music fields. It also has a practice and tournament mode, unlike Venice Beach. Venice Beach seems more fun. Its easier to play because the guys/girls on your team are bigger and easier to control. KOTB does put you in the mood to play volleyball with the bongo music and the sound of the surf, against the cheesy keyboard music of VB. KOTB is more of a simulation, while VB is a lot faster and arcade-like. KOTB is a much better game in the long run, because it will keep you entertained longer with it's tournament mode. KOTB also scores some brownie points with the appearences of Randy Stolkes and Sinjin Smith (some famous volleyball players I think.) Still, both games are fun.
