Heavy Shreddin'

This is a "uh, lame game, dude!" When I brought it I expected this to be a sweet alternative/extreme NES game so I ran home, popped in a Less than Jake CD, and grabbed a Mountain Dew to set the mood and got ready to snowboard. And I was disapointed. The graphics are decent, especially the snowboarder, who is very detailed and the music is up to par.

However, the game would be really fun, except for its difficulty. The game is impossible. You get a whole 4 lives and no continues, which sucks. Plus if you die, you have to start at the begining stage, which is very long. The fun part of the game is the backwood stage. You get to jump cliffs and highways and stuff. They gameplay and fast and extreme ("SURGE!!!!!") which makes the game fun. There is even a scary part of the game, the face you see when you beat a level. In the end, the difficulty kills the game, leaving you frustrated and dead at the begining of the Level 2.

Final Rating: 6.0
