"Another Christmas Without You"
Christmas is a time of year,
When families join together
To celebrate the birth of Christ
And eternal life forever.
The stores all decorated with lights
The towns are all aglow,
The star shines on the mountain,
For all to see below.
The weather's getting colder,
The frost is nipping at our toes,
The icicles are hanging low
As the cold north winds do blow.
Another year has passed sweet child,
Since you both went away,
To join the heavenly angels
As they celebrate Christ's special day.
I know our minds cannot fathom,
the beauty you must see,
Of celebrating Christmas in heaven,
But your not here with me.
I understand I'm being selfish,
to want you here with me.
But God had a different plan,
Please God help my heart to see.
Your spirit will join with us,
As we gather round the tree.
And one day we will join you,
And our spirits will be free.
So have a blessed Christmas,
with Jesus and all your family
that have crossed over into heaven,
Such a wonderous place to be.
We miss your presence with us,
As each passing year goes by.
But you are praising Jesus,
With the angels from on high.
So as another Christmas passes,
Our hearts are thinking of you.
And the day we shall share our Christmas,
With Jesus Christ and you.
Until we meet again you are
forever loved and missed.
