David ~ My Know-It-All Angel image

In Loving Memory of
David Beaulieu
August 12, 1958 - March 26, 1998

"My Know-It-All Angel"

When you were just a little boy
We called you "Mr. Know-it-all"
You liked to stretch a story,
Til it was oh so tall!!

I often told you "David"
Remember the "boy who cried wolf"?
And than when something really happened,
No one believed it was the truth.

But that never deterred you in any way,
I guess you thought it was fun,
It brought you lot's of attention,
And never really hurt anyone.

The funny thing about your stories,
that always made us laugh.
Was you could really do the things,
That seemed impossible tasks.

You had a heart as pure as gold,
There's nothing you wouldn't do,
to help a friend or family member,
whenever they needed you.

You were such a brilliant young man,
There wasn't much you couldn't do.
You chose to serve our country,
For 14 years in Navy blues.

I believe you would of stayed in,
And retired and moved near.
But Drs. found a time bomb ticking in your head
No one knew when it would burst, a day, a week, a year.

You bravely chose not to tell your family.
But came back home to live.
God gave you three wonderful years,
With family, friends and relatives.

We were blessed to have that time with you.
All though I wanted more.
But God in all His wisdom,
Knew it was time for you to soar.

To live your life in Heaven,
He needed a "Mr Know-it-all" above
To teach all the little angels,
All about His eternal love.

I love and miss you my son,
Nothing feels the same.
Until the day I join you,
And God wipes away the pain.

Happy Birthday,
I love you my "Mr. Know-it-all" Angel "Mom"

Birthdays

Are there birthdays in Heaven?
Does the angel blow his horn?
Announcing to everybody
That this is the day you were born?

Can the stars be your balloons
And angel food your cake?
Presents wrapped in moonbeams
All the angels helped to make.

Birthdays meant so much to you
They were always a big deal
Birthday presents, lots of friends
And perhaps a special meal.

So I'll whisper a little prayer today
Asking everyone up above
To sing you a Happy Birthday song
And give you all my love.

Cassie and her Uncle David. This was Cassie's prom picture and David when he was best man for my daughter Maryanne. After their deaths we had the pictures superimposed. They were so close as an uncle and niece. Cassie loved her Uncle David with all her heart. She didn't meet him until she was 2 years old as he was away in the Navy, but when he got off the plane she ran right to him and jumped
in his arms and they were "best buds" from that moment on. They went to heaven only 10 months apart.

This is a wonderful gift from my dear friend Doris.

We Do Not Need A Special Day

We do not need a special day
To bring you to our minds
The days we do not think of you
Are very hard to find

Each morning when we awake
We know that you are gone
And no one knows the heartache
As we try to carry on

Our hearts still ache with sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one will ever know

Our thoughts are always with you
Your place no one can fill
In life we loved you dearly
In death we love you still

There will always be a heartache
And often a silent tear
But always a precious memory
Of the days when you were here

If tears could build a staircase
And heartaches make a lane
We'd walk the path to Heaven
And bring you home again

We hold you close, within our hearts
And there you will remain
To walk with us throughout our lives
Until we meet again

Our family chain is broken now
And nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.

This is a gift from my dear friend Pammi. Here is what she wrote:
"I made this Tag For David. His site touched my heart and I put this together for him...

My Valentine
Performed by Martina McBride

If there were no words
No way to speak
I would still hear you
If there were no tears
No way to feel inside
I'd still feel for you

And even if the sun refused to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart until the end of time
You're all I need, my love, my Valentine

All of my life
I have been waiting for
All you give to me
You've opened my eyes
And showed me how to love unselfishly

I've dreamed of this a thousand times before
But in my dreams I couldn't love you more
I will give you my heart
Until the end of time...
You're all I need, my love, my Valentine

And even if the sun refused to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart until the end of time
'Cause all I need is you, my Valentine
You're all I need, my love, my Valentine

Joyce,
You are in My Prayers and in My Heart as you remember your David with Love. Even with your large family there is still a hole in your heart that can probably never be filled. May the dear Lord bless you and keep you. I made David a little gift in honor of his memory.

With Love and Prayers always
Ann, Laurasmom
