• IT WAS LARRY HOOVER who after the fatal shooting of Dantrel Davis an elementary public school student by a gang member, who assisted in vanguarding the UNITED IN PEACE movement which brought about a reduction in gang crime & murder rate in the city of Chicago and other Metropolitan areas throughout the United States.
• IT WAS LARRY HOOVER who assisted in the development and implementation of the highly successful Englewood High School Gang Deactivation program which utilized gang members to improve the social & academic performance of students who are gang members.
• IT WAS LARRY HOOVER who gave lectures to the criminological department at the University of Northern Iowa via phone.
• IT WAS LARRY HOOVER who gave consultation to Dr. Clemens Bartollas, nationally renown author & criminologist and gave consultation to a prominent Iowan state senator concerning gang issues in the State of Iowa.
• IT WAS LARRY HOOVER who developed & implemented a plan with Dr. Russell that reduced the gang crime in the State of Iowa.
