MY ANTENNA SETUP
I have the following antennas: A portable 6 meter Yagi, MFJ 2 meter groundplane and a 25 element ATV reciving antenna. That is my base setup for the moment. I will have my 40 foot tower up soon with all new antennas on it. My mobile antennas consist of a K40 10 meter antenna and an MFJ 2 and 6 meter antenna. I use them when I go on vacation, to localHam Radio operators houses and in emergences.
This is my Sangean ATS 909 shortwave..
Here are the books I keep handy at my shack:
ARRL Antenna book-For my antenna projects.
ARRL Operating Manual-For learning more about hamradio and shortwave radio.
ARRL Handbook-For when IM working on electronic projects.
Passport to world band radio-For looking up shortwave radio stations to send them qsl cards
