Ramena

NAME: Ramena

RACE: Demi-Goddess

DESCRIPTION: Ramena has flaming red hair that flows down her back like silk and her eyes are emerald green. She is about 5'7" tall and has the lithe, strong
body of an athlete.

SKILLS/POWERS: Ramena is a great warrior skilled in the use of many weapons. Her weapon of choice is the sword which she wields with great skill and accuracy. In the past, Ramena has tried to ignore the godly powers she has inherited because she wants absolutely nothing to do with the one she had inherited those powers from..her real mother..Hera. She has, however, used her powers many times now and sometimes lets them be shown. She has the ability to disappear/reappear/become invisible..such as the way with Gods. She is also telekinetic and pyrokinetic.

BACKGOUND: Ramena is the result of an affair Hera
had with a mortal man. It was her way of getting back at Zeus for his infidelity. Ramena hates her mother and wants absolutely nothing to do with her. She was not raised by Hera, thankfully, but was instead raised by her father Stavros and his mortal wife Eithne. Eithne was unable to have children of her own and so she gladly accepted the responsibility of raising Ramena. However, what Eithne did not know was that the girl was the daughter of the Queen of the gods. Stavros told his wife that he found Ramena in a basket in the woods when she was an infant, which wasn't too far form the truth. Hera had abandoned the child shortly after her birth. Eithne knows nothing of Stavros's affair with the goddess. Ramena herself knew nothing of her father's affair until she was a teenager. This was about the same time her powers started to surface. When Hera discovered that Ramena had god-like abilities she decided to try to manipulate her daughter into using those powers for her own purposes. She tried to bring Ramena under her control and use her as a "weapon" against Hercules. But Ramena seeing what her mother was doing turned against Hera and befriended Hercules much to the goddess's dismay. Ramena is now residing happily here at Herc's temple.
