DMX

DMX debuted with a long time friend, the Lox on a DJ Clue mix-tape. DMX's first hit was his single "Get at Me Dog" which became a club and radio hit. DMX first appeared in an column by The Source back in 1991. Later DMX signed to Columbia, but it didn't work out. DMX guested on many different tracks by people such L.L. Cool J, Mase and Mic Geronimo , and then signed to Def Jam in 1997. DMX's debut album It is Dark & Hell Is Hot was released in May 1998. The track "Rough Ryders Anthem was a hit right away. Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood followed later that same year, with famous tracks such as Slippin.
