Sometime after that, I lived in Turkey for 2-4 years. My father volunteered to be stationed there, because at the time anyone who went voluntarily to Turkey could choose their duty station. My parents were having marital problems, and as a last ditch effort to save the marriage, my dad was going to make his next assignment Asia, so that my mom would be closer to her home, South Korea. ...// As long as I can remember I lived in Japan. The first decade was in Fussa, Tokyo Prefecture. But after my dad retired, we moved to Zama-shi in Kanagawa. I would go to middle and high school there. But my whole life was spent in the Kanto Plains. ...// During my childhood in Japan, my mother, sister and I visited South Korea twice, both times for roughly two weeks. I remember it, but feeling alienated I just stayed in my hotel room. ...// In 2002 I moved back to America, specifically to South Carolina. I would live there for 3 months, and then move north. I stayed in North Cackalack until spring 03, when I finally moved to Seattle, WA. ...// While living here, I've gone back to Japan twice, visited Reno, Nevada for winter break, and went to Vancouver, Canada for one night and day during spring break 04.
