I wasat the SSB fan party in Maryland on 3/24/02 and I must say that I had the absolute best time ever!!!!! I have so much to say that I really don't know where to begin!! Let me start by saying that SSB rock my world!!!!! They are the greatest ever!!! We got to see 3 shows last night! We went to the fan party at 1pm Sunday afternoon. That was soooooo awesome!!! We met the guys and hung around with them. We have tons of pics and a video tape of thier performance!!! I am so psyched!!!! Can you tell?
The fan party was so much fun!!! I really enjoyed spending time with SSB. They are a great bunch of guys. I've never had that much fun in my life!!! I think I may do this again next year.
OMG! It was so good. I talked to Michael Sunday a lot that day and he really likes me a lot. He's a sweetheart. He kept telling me that I'm cute but I don't know why. I'm really not that cute. He told my sister that he was going to steal me. He was flirtting with me all day long. He asked me if I was planning on going to thier next show later that night and I said that we (sis and I) were planning on going back to our hotel.
Michael said, "Aww let her go. You come with me. I'll hook you up." So, needless to say we went to the other two shows that night. We weren't origionally planning on going on going because we didn't know how far Whitemarsh was from Edgewood. But after Michael invited me to go we just had to. So, we asked someone for directions and found out that Whitemarsh is only about 10 or 15 minutes away from Edgewood. It was pretty easy finding our way there.
The best moment of the whole weekend came Sunday night as we were leaving the third show. The guys were doing another meet & greet at the back of the club.
My sister and I went back there on our way out and stopped because we wanted to get hugs from Peter. He gives the best hugs in the world!!! My sister hugged him first and it was just one of those quick little hugs that he was giving everyone. Then it was my turn. He held out his arms to me and had a big smile on his face. I wrapped my arms around him and I did not want to let go! He held me so tight for the longest time.
He kept pulling me closer and squeezing tighter!!!! OMH it was heavenly!!! I so did not want it to end. But I knew it had to. So, after what seemed like an eternity *eg* we let go of each other slowly. And as I backed away from him he had the most adorable grin on his face and a mischievous twinkle in his eye. It was the best. Then as we walked by Tadg he blew us kisses which he didn't do to anyone else. And then of course we just had to hug Michael before we left.
He put his arms around me, kissed my cheek, and said, "Come on step up here. Don't be shy." I told him I can't help it because I'm always shy. I also told him that I didn't want to leave yet. So he asked me again which hotel we were staying in and wanted to know what our room number was. So, we told him and he said, "Ok, I'll steal a car and come over." Of course I knew he was only joking around. It was funny. He's such a flirt.
I think the third show was the best of the evening. Not that thier performance at the fan party wasn't good. It was very good. They did an all request show and just had us yell out which ever songs we wanted to hear. But to me it seemed like they had more fun at the third show. They were cracking more jokes Tadg is so fresh sometimes!
A couple of times during the show Peter had to stop playing because he couldn't believe some of the things Tadg was saying. It was sooo funny. I couldn't believe some of it either. But I had a great time. It was incredible. I was on Cloud 9 a week after that hug from Peter!!!
I never danced so much in my life. All three times I was right up in front of the stage directly in front of Peter just dancing away and singing along. I am so in love with him. LOL I definately had the best time of my life and I cannot wait to do this again.
All day Sunday at the fan party Tadg kept thanking me for everything and I kept saying, "No. Thank YOU." He signed a picture for me and said thnk you, he took a picture with me and said thank you, he thanked us for traveling so far to see them. He's so sweet. I love Tadg. He's a flirt too. He kept smiling at me all day and all night and saying hi and blowing kisses. He's the coolest.
Well, I think I've said enough. I don't want to bore anyone with all the details of that day. So, I'll go for now.
