Not Only You

A cross martyred across the people
They all scream and bow
Kneeling on their Mother's head
Killing on the sacred ground

Legions stand behind the faithful
Believing they're already dead
To bow thier heads before a symbol
Seeking redemption for some forgotten sin

Legions shake their heads in shame
Why believe the false martyr
A good man he may have been
But a son of the Gods - never

Mother Moon and Father Stars
We all serve them in our own way
Why worship a man when eternity is waiting
Showing her beautiful face

Still, wrong they may seem
Lack of proof on thier side
So forced to accept and respect
The truth we've sworn to find
