I dreamed that
my horse had wings and
could fly,
I jumped on my horse
and rode the sky.
The man in the moon was
out that night,
He laughed long and
loud when I pranced
into sight.
There was a little turle.
He lived in a box.
He swam in a puddle.
He climbed on the rocks.
He snapped at a mosquito.
He snapped at a flea.
He snapped at a minnow.
And he snapped at me.
He caught the mosquito.
He caught the flea.
He caught the minnow.
But he didn't catch me.
A hungry fox one
day did spy,
Some nice ripe grapes
that hung so high,
And as they hung they
seemed to say,
"If you can fetch
me down you may."
The Fox his patience
nearly lost,
With expectations
baulked and crossed,
He licked his lips for
near an hour,
Till he found the prize
beyond his power,
Then he went, and swore
the grapes were sour!
The panther is like a
leopard,
Except it hasn't been
peppered.
Should you behold a
panther crouch,
Prepare to say Ouch.
Better yet, if called
by a panther,
Don't anther.
My sweethear's a mule
in the mines,
I drive her without
reins or lines,
On the bumper I sit,
I chew and I spit
All over my
sweetheart's behind.
