Donnie Wahlberg: NKOTB'S Little Drummer Boy
As most of you crazy New Kids fans already know, our favorite fab five really rock in concert. Jordan, Jon, Joe, Danny, and Donnie drive audiences absolutely wild with their sensational singing, and their incredibly energetic dancing and bouncing ‘round the stage. During any given show, no matter the time, no matter the place, there’s sure to be so much action up on the stage, that you’ll have a hard time knowing where to looks so as not to miss a trick. These guys are literally all over the place!
What you may not yet know is that the New Kids have been working hard, learning how to play various musical instruments. The more they practice their instruments, the better they become at playing them, and the more comfortable they feel playing them for you, their devoted audiences. Donnie, who always dazzles the fans with lots of thrilling dance moves, has been shining equally as bright while banging on his drums. The energy is beyond high, and the adrenaline really flows when Donnie goes for the drumsticks. A major highlight of the New Kids’ show is when Joe Mc sings lead vocals on the group’s rendition of the Jackson Five’s mega-hit song, "I’ll Be There," and the rest of the dudes pick up their instruments of choice. Besides Donnie on the drums, there’s Jordan on the keyboards, Jonathan on guitar, and Danny on the snare drums.
The drums seem to be perfectly tailored to Donnie’s personality. There’s something wildly savage and untamed about Mr. D., and when he’s up there banging his little heart out on the ol’ tom toms, it’s oh-so-obvious that where the drums (among other things) are concerned, our man Don’s got it – THE RIGHT STUFF! Here’s hoping that you’ll be catching a New Kids concert soon, and that you’ll be seeing Donnie strut his stuff on the drums (pa-rum-pum-pum-pum)…yeah!
