Donnie Wahlberg Headed for "Purgatory"
Donnie Wahlberg starts production of TNT's "Purgatory" with Sam Shepard this week. The telepic has a group of bad guys coming into a cowboy town full of men who look like notorious outlaws, according to Wahlberg, who plays the Billy the Kid look-alike. However, he adds, "They live like saints, and they don't do any crime, so if you wonder if it really is the famous outlaws."
Wahlberg is glad to report that his film, "Southie" in which he plays a recovering alcoholic, is finally on its way out of purgatory. Shot last year, it's headed to the Seattle Film Festival June 10-14.
