The only descritpion I can come up with for this movie is what it has been called repeatedly. A gritty urban thriller about what it takes to survive on the street. It is about the journeys into the dark and underground world of two men who share a bitter hatred and a grudging respect.
Donnie plays a very small role in this movie. His total screen time might total 5 minutes if added up. He has been quoted before as having said that he actually went out for this role because his friend, Mickey Rourke called him up and asked him to. And that it was a joy to work with TuPac Shakur on one of his final film roles.
