The Pietasters - Awsome Mix Tape #6

Their 1999 release and still on hellcat records is a must buy ! if you liked  willis then youll like this one, i have noticed that a lot of bands that sign on with hellcat records have changed their style or music in one way or another, but i can gladly say The Pietasters have not changed , yet anyways. if you are the type that likes to listen before buy,  Then try and find the mp3's for "chain reaction" "chooch's bitch" or "spiderview" .

Misfits - Famous Monsters

This is their 1999 release and still on Roadrunner Records. They are keeping the horror alive. being one of my favorite bands i cant say enough about this release, in my opinion it is just as good as american psycho, they even threw in a song that sounds like it could have been played back in the fifties called "saturday night" but they added their own twist to it. this is a great record and should be bought by every misfits fan.

.Mustard Plug - Pray for Mojo

Their 1999 release on Hopeless records is a pretty good pick up. still has alot of horns mixed with alot of guitar, but i feel that this one is a bit different from "Evildoers Beware" i cant pin point exactly what it is, but it does have a slight sound change. but is still a very good record. with some of the better tracks being "Not Giving in" "Throw a Bomb" So Far To Go"

The Bouncing Souls - Hopeless Romantic

This is their 1999 release from Epitaph Records. and is much different from the self titled record. the music is still fast but what i mean is that its much clearer. the recording was much better the vocals and the music in general  too. there isnt one song on this cd that i dislike. the best tracks from this cd is "Kid" "Bullying the Jukebox" "OLE!" and "Wish Me Well"

The Slackers - The Question

This is their 1998 release from Hellcat Records.   it is a great pure ska cd, a third wave sound with a first wave beat. a must buy for any ska fan. tracks to look for are "Manuel" "And i Wonder" "No More Crying" amoung many others..

Mighty Mighty Bosstones - Let's Face it

This is their 1997 release on Mercury Records. now there is alot talk about these guys, going from they sold-out to their not ska and even beyond that. Now it is in my opinion that i believe , yes they have gone semi mainstream but i dont feel they have sold out. these guys have heart and alot of love for what they do. and in my opinion again they do it well. and as far as them not being ska. right, there not!, there ska-core!
