In Loving Memory, Owen Hart 1965-1999
I know every wrestling fan is aware of the tragic death of Owen Hart at the WWF Over The Edge pay per view. I was watching it. I was shocked. I was sad. I was in disbelief. I was all those thing; I could not believe what I just saw. One minute my friends and I were sitting there laughing and talking, and the next we were silent...we first thought it was possibly a work...but when we saw the look on the crowd's faces and the sincereness in Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler's voice, and when we later heard that he passed away, we were in absolute shock. I know for me, it didn't settle in until about at least a day later. Owen Hart is really gone. A human life lost due to a freak accident. What a tragedy...On top of that we have people like Craig Kilborn, and the radio station in Dallas, Tx making sick comments about Owen's death. Owen Hart was a human. A valuable human life lost, human life obviously has no meaning to these sick people. My condolences to the Hart family, and my prayers. God bless, Owen Hart. You'll never be forgotten as a great wretler, and a greater person/family man. You'll be remembered, God Bless.
