    Why don't we heal
A video review of Caroline Myss

Caroline Myss gets impressions of peoples energy from there name and age. People wonder why they are losing power. “Won’t” is a strong word. People say I won’t be able to heal. The word “won’t” can be controlling. Energy is a science. There are two forms of energy, mental and emotional.
When Caroline started doing intuitive healing she came across illnesses in groups of three. She says “our biography becomes our biology”. Meaning if we invest our energy into our past it is not going to happen. It costs us to keep wounds alive. We communicate through wounds. She came up with the term woundology. Let’s say someone asked you a yes or no question. You answer this question with a story about your wound. This would be referring to woundology. What does it feel like to lose power? We feel knots in our stomach when are energy is draining. The energy comes out of our cell tissue. We waste too much energy trying to heal. When we use up all our energy it starts to take action on our bodies.
Where is the energy? The energy comes from 7 databanks (chakras). The first one is tribal dealing with family, religion, culture, ethnic, social surroundings, and social attitudes. The second deals with control, survival, flight or flight, friendship, bonding, and bank account. The third databank is self esteem and personal intimacy. The fourth is the heart. It deals with our love experiences, center power, and is the base of our entire system. The fifth is our choice and will. The sixth deals with our mental center and belief attitude. The seventh databank is where we store energy beliefs.
How do you get energy back? The only way you can get energy back it through forgiveness. This may seem easy but it is not, forgiveness equals change. Most people do not like change. Why are you holding on to this wound? If you let go it would involve change.
There are five central myths people go by. One is “my life is defined by my wound”. People use there wounds to talk to others. Two is “being healthy means being alone”. Again, what would you say to other people? Three is “feeling pain means being destroyed by pain”. Don’t let pain control your life. We learn from pain and then let it go. Four is “we believe all illness is caused by negativity”. This is not true either; you can get an illness and not be negative. Five is “true change is not possible”. True change is possible; you just have to believe in it.
There are five steps to healing. Force yourself to forgive, Redefine healing, Stop and ask for the reasons why things happened they way they did, Chart a course for the future-create a life path, and Sit around and have people witness your wound three times.
Life is a learning experience. Many things look painful but are blessings in disguise. Healing requires paying attention to wounds and learning from them. We can learn to chart energy. You can have something sad or traumatic in life and be ok.
I found Caroling Myss to be very informative. She was very intriguing. Her video kept my attention the entire time. I love her books and her video had the same effect. I would definitely recommend watching this to anyone interested in finding out about healing.
