    Kosovo vs. Albania

On Monday, April 12, 1999, I looked up the topic Kosovo. I opened infoseek and typed Kosovo conflict. It came up with 3,266,582 total results. I chose the Pro-Serbian sources first. This narrowed my choices to twenty-three articles.
“Albanian terrorism in Kosovo and Metohija” was the first site. It said “Federal Republic of Yugoslavia government site asserts that the “Kosovo Liberation Army should be included in the catalog of international terrorist organization””. I opened it up and there was a bunch of bullet aiming bloody pictures. The stories were about Albanian terrorism.
The next article I opened was called “Bad Serb Club”. The summary says “Serbian group that argues against an autonomous Kosovo. Pages written in English and Serb-Croation”. After picking English, the page said “Welcome to hell. World War III Diary”. There were pictures of people. One of them was the President. I clicked on it. It gave me a bunch of little disaster messages. What caught my eye was the Nazi symbol. They show how it was written before and gave it a 90’s updated version.
I went back to the Kosovo conflict page. Then I chose Pro-Albanian sources. This narrowed my search to fourteen articles. I chose the article “Kosovo Crisis Center”. The summary said “News, timelines, and Albanian cultural heritage in English”. It has pictures that compare Europe in the 40’s to Europe in the 90”s. They are very similar. Half the article is devoted to hundreds of links. They go back to April 7th. At the end is a story on how Albania saved it’s Jew’s during World War II.
The other site I went into was called “Kosovo WebRing”. Its summary said “Surf from one Kosovo site to another. Chat and message boards for members”. The reason for this site was so Albanian webmasters could chat, leave messages, and share ideas and scripts.
I found that the Pro-Serbian site had a lot more information than the Pro-Albanian. I felt the Serbian’s were saying, here is hell and they were pro-killing. I felt the Albanian’s were saying, this is what we are going through and it is painful.
