![]() Queen of the copier I feel as if I’ve spent the entire day in front of the copy machine. I decided that I had to get the competition instruction book put together, as time is quickly getting by me. This is just a collection of instruction sheets that give members all the information they could possibly need to get through the weekend. It tells us what to wear and when to wear it, and gives us all the times of rehearsals or contests that we need to attend. It has makeup instructions, hotel info, costume info and the killer schedule for Saturday (the day we compete). I needed to have all this together in order to distribute it to the membership on Tuesday night. So I have to get all the reports, copy, collate and staple them. It’s not all that difficult, just takes up a chunk of time. I decided to save myself a minor bit of aggravation this year and use the machine at school that will make double sided copies, sort and staple. of course even the best-laid plans go awry. But that is because the head of the makeup committee can’t follow directions and gave me her stuff already copied and staples. So I’m going to attach that as the back pages of the book. I knew I was going to have to staple all the covers on myself, because I went over the top designing the cover. I bought a stamp of a chicken chorus line, and created what looks like a chicken chorus by stamping the image several times and layering them on top of each other. I stamped a floor and used a background paper that looked like it might be a curtain. It’s cute. Because I’d put all that work into it I went to my brother’s office to use his color copier. Now I have to staple them together. Last year I even decorated all the pages in the book, but I decided not to this year. It took up a ton of time and I decided today that I just needed to get them copied. If we didn’t have a half day tomorrow (which means the kids leave at 11 but that we go to meetings till three) I might have taken them home tonight to goof around with. But I felt as if I needed to get the copying done today, so I could use the weekend to get things compiled. Maybe if the mood strikes I’ll hand stamp some of the pages. I think I stood at a copier for about two hours today. Isn’t life a thrill?
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I had this urge to go shopping this evening, but for some reason I talked myself out of it, and convinced myself that I could go tomorrow instead. There must have been a guardian angel looking over me today. There was an accident on the road I would have traveled, and apparently the traffic was tied up for miles and miles. I’m so glad I didn’t have to sit in some kind of a traffic mess. I don’t have a lot of patience for that.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() My cat is making me crazy. He’s continuing to jump over the litter box so he can pee on the carpet. He’s using the box for his other business, but won’t when he pees. I have no idea how to fix this problem. I can smell it immediately so I got and blot up all the liquid and then pour Nature’s Miracle or a similar product on the spot. But it isn’t acting as a deterrent. It’s irritating me, as well as costing me a fortune. This cleaning stuff is expensive. If anyone has any solutions let me know. The vet seems to think his health is fine. He’s no longer taking any kind of medication and eats like it’s going out of style. He’s always hungry and is really irritated that I won’t give home people food anymore. I’m going to have to get a carpet-cleaning machine again. Which kills me considering all the work I did back in February. ![]() Listening to: Whistle Down the Wind Reading: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Weather: sunny, 70 Trivia: The "you are here" arrow on maps is called an ideo locator.
