Here are some various pieces of artwork that show the Arabian horse in costume and halters.

The Prophet Mohammed had many Arabian horses. It is believed that he is developed the breed into a true and loyal desert horse. After preventing a group of mares of drinking for a week, the Prophet Mohammed released them to a well to quench their thirst. Before they reached the well, he called for them to return and only five came back to him. These five mares became what was known as the Al-Khamsa, "The Five", and are the foundation mares of the Arabian breed.
