  • NAME: Aidynn

  • RACE: Demi-Goddess

  • DESCRIPTION: Aidynn has long jet black hair which reaches to the middle of her back and beautiful amethyst eyes. She is about 5'4" tall and weighs about 110 lbs.

  • SKILLS/POWERS: Aidynn is an excellent swosdswoman who has proven time after time that she can wield a sword as good as -if not better than- any man. She is a skillful thief who has a knack for getting herself (and others) into trouble. Aidynn has inherited some unusual powers from her immortal father. Such as the ability to shoot lightning or fireballs from her fingertips, she can read the thoughts and emotions of others, and also has the ability to heal with a single touch.

  • PERSONALITY: Always willing to come to the aid of a friend Aidynn is an excellent ally. She is more than willing to put her life on the line to protect those close to her. Also Aidynn is somewhat of a mischief maker. She can never resist the oppurtunity to play a prank on anyone (mortal or god).

  • BACKGROUND: Aidynn is the daughter of Apollo and Gwenyn, High Priestess of Avalon. For many years Aidynn had no idea who her true parents were. Her adoptive mother, Ileandra, found her on the bank of a stream one day when she was just a small baby. Since Ileandra had tried for many years to have a daughter and couldn't, she decided to keep Aidynn as her own. She took her back to the village with her.

However, Aidynn's adoptive father, Farris, wasn't too happy about this. He and Ileandra already had three older sons, Aeson, Titus, and Castor, and didn't want another mouth to feed. Titus and Castor also hated Aidynn as much as thier father did. But Aeson loved her as though she were his real sister and they became very close, nearly inseperable.

As Aidynn got older, she started to realize she was different from the other children. One day, when she was about 7 years old, Aeson slipped and hit his head. Aidynn placed her hand on his forehead and healed him. It was the first time she had used her healing powers. Luckily, no one else was around when this happened or Aidynn surely would have been banished from the village. Aeson told her to keep her abilities a secret.

By the time Aidynn was a teenager, she had learned enough about herbal lore to go gather the various herbs she needed on her own. One day while Aidynn was doing this, she came upon Aeson and three other boys having an argument in the woods. The three boys murdered her brother and as he lay dying, Aidynn picked up his sword to avenge him.

A nearby villager had also heard the argument and had come to investigate. He found the girl there with her brother's bloody sword and the three dead boys around her. The villager took Aidynn back to stand trial for her crimes. There was a law in effect that any sword drawn to kill another was an offense punishable by death.

The counsel took pity on the girl after hearing her story and only banished her from the village instead. Aidynn wandered for many years learning various bits of healing, fighting, and even love.

In time she found her way to Ares' Temple where the war god took her in. Aidynn became very loyal to Ares and was willing to sacrifice everything for him. Ares was always there when she needed him and he baceme very protective of her. That is until she met Hercules and Iolaus. Aidynn fell in love with Iolaus and he convinced her to leave the temple of Ares. To this day Ares, Herc, and Iolaus argue over who Aidynn should be with. It was just recently that Aidynn discovered that Apollo is her true father, her mother is Gwynen, and that she has a sister named Kyrra.
