WHO IS HE?
The crowd roared its apaproval as Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. They dimly recognized who he was even though He had none of the trappings usually associated with power. but what they did not understand about Him would keep many of them from witnessing to Him in the courts and on the cross. We, too, as we walk through Holy Week, will be invited to answer the question: who do you say that He is? Follow Jesus as He carried His cross on the way to Calvary.

FOLLOW JESUS ON THE ROAD TO CALVARY - 14 STATIONS OF THE CROSS.

*** I HAVE LOVED YOU WITH AN EVERLASTING LOVE. (Jeremiah 31:3)

AN INVITATION TO NON-PRACTICING CATHOLICS TO RETURN HOME.

CHOOSE LIFE
Former Pennsylvania Governor Robert Casey touched a vital, ongoing and, challenging truth when he spoke to reporters after he was prohibited from addressing the Democratic National Convention: "Deep down we know that the fate of one life touches all of us. since when does America abandon an entire class of people? How can we justify writing off the unborn child in a country that prides itself on leaving no one out and no one behind?" May we like Christ stand up for the value of each human life no matter what the cost, we pray.
CCD NEWS: Hi Everyone!
Well, the eighth grade had a great trip this week to the synagogue. thanks to Margaret Lasaelle and Marilyn Holt for chaperoning. The group was led by a gentleman who just had his second Bar Mitzvah! Seventy is considered a full life in the Jewish faith so if you live to be 83 you can have another Bar Mitzvah. Sue Hague's third grade class did a great job on the stations. it was interesting to see what stations they chose. Make sure you take a good look at them. This is Holy Week. Please take the kids to the services on thursday and Friday. They are not long and this is vacation week. No homework, no bed early, no excuses. these are fifferent, interactive services. try it, you'll like it. Have a great week and I'll see you in church. Gail
MANY, MANY THANKS We need to thank several people who helped us prepare the Easter floweres for our shut-ins. thanks to Fran Colgan for the organization and the cards. Thanks to Jean O'Dea and Eleanor Frenier for wrapping all the flowers and to Mary Ann Wall, who died suddenly this past week, who tied all the little bows. Thank you. Ladies, for all your efforts. they looked beautiful!
THANKS TO ALL WHO CAME TO VISIT Thanks to everyone who stopped by during our Lenten brunch last weekend. Many thanks to Marilyn Holt for her pasta salad, to Val Tompkins for her taco salad (we have the receipes for both), to Pat Foley, Mike dube and Betty Whitwood for all their delicious baked goods and organization of the event. The next brunch (and the last for the season) will be May 7th - the Celebration for our Senior Altar Servers. Everyone is welcome!!
