My dad, George West was born in Obion Co,TN.
He is the sixth child born to Emmett and
Ella West. George was raised on a farm and at
the age of thirty moved his family to Indiana.
He worked in the steel mill and after retire-
ment moved back to his home state.

On February 24, 1999 my dad was in a serious
automobile accident. He was flown to the Elvis
Presley Trauma Center in Memphis, TN. The
family was called to the hospital. The doctors
didn’t give any hope, as you will see in the
photos below. My dad is a fighter and today he
is alive and doing well. The picture at the
top of the page is this year 2001.

The family decided to have an “80th" birthday
celebration for him. Come join my dad as he
reminisces a moment in time. We thank God for
giving us these years with our dad.
