Kid Link Bosses

1.Gohma

The first boss Link has to face as a child is called Gohma, who lives inside the Deku Tree. This creature will attack Link constantly by advancing and swinging it’s arms. It will also, periodically, climb onto the roof of the battleground and lay 3 eggs. This eggs attack just like Gohma but are harder to control.

In order to counter this attack, Link must use his Fairy Slingshot to hit Gohma in the eye. While the beast it stunned, advance and strike at Gohma’s eye with Link’s Sword. After doing this 2 to 4 times (depending on how many times you hit Gohma’s eye) Gohma will fall to the ground, and die.

2. King Dodongo

The second boss Link encounters is King Dodongo, who lies in Dodongo’s Cavern. This reptile seems intimidating at first, but isn’t too hard if you know what to do. King Dodongo will first roll around trying to run over Link. Find a way to avoid this (If you have the Hyrule shield, it will help!). You will notice that after a while King Dodongo will stop, approach Link and spit fire. This is where timing is key. When the boss has his mouth wide open, pick a bomb from one of the bomb flowers or use a bomb from your bomb bag, and throw it into his mouth. He will wobble and fall to the ground. This is when you charge with Link’s sword and take many slices at his body. It takes a few tries but after awhile, you will catch on and he will eventually die.

3. Barinade

The last boss Link will encounter is named Barinade, and presides inside of Lord Jabu-Jabu’s belly. This “Electric Anemone” (an anemone is an underwater organism similar to a sponge) will shock link and protect itself from him by using a barricade of jellyfish. It is hard to defeat this underwater foe, but it is doable.

To get it to be vulnerable, avoid it’s electric shocks for awhile. Then it will rise out of the ground and send jellyfish spinning around itself. When they stop spinning, the jellyfish are vulnerable. This is when you kill them with Link’s boomerang. Once they are destroyed, Link is free to slice away at Barinade’s main torso. Barinade will repair itself, and fight again but not as many hits are necessary as for the previous bosses.

Note, when Barinade dies the ending is great.
