Magic Beans
The magic beans can come in handy to Link later on in his journey. Magic Beans are sold only by the Man near the fence in Zora's River. They are planted as a child in fertile soil and when adult Link returns to them they are fully grown. If he gets on top of them he will be taken for a ride which can help him to get places and/or get heart pieces, rupees and skulltulas. There are a total of 10 place to plant magic beans.
1. Next to the man that sells Link beans there is fertile soil, plant one there.
2. To the right of the shop in Kokiri Forest there is fertile soil.
3. In the Lost Woods take a left and another left from where you come in. There is fertile soil.
4. In Gerudo Valley, use a chicken to fly down off the cliff to a place with a cow and Gerudo Guard. They will not arrest or capture you and you can plant your beans in peace.
5. At the Graveyard in Kakariko Village walk forward and take a right. Keep going and there is a patch of fertile soil near the last grave to the left.
6. Near the Spirit Temple, just outside the Desert Colossus and the entrance to the Spirit Temple.
7. Right outside of Dodongo's Cavern. This one is not hard to find.
8. Right outside of the Lake Hylia lab with the old screwed up dude.
9. In Death Mountain Crater near the Bolero of Fire warp.
10. In the Lost woods, once again, it's hard to find but I think you take a right at the first intersection.
