Zelda Title ConfirmedIn a recent conference, the highly regarded Shigeru Miamoto spoke about the Gamecube on Nintendo behalf. A lot of the talk was focused on the next Zelda for Gamecube. Although not many details were revealed, a few things are now known. First of all, it has now been official confirmed that a Zelda game will be released on nintendo’s next generation console. The video of Link fighting Ganon was apparently intended to be a part of the game. The game is currently in progress and so far Link’s character is able to move around on screen with the Gamecube system. The programmers are currently working on the actions link can do, stating that there will be many more actions that will be possible by the Gamecube system. The story is also in progress, but the title is not being rushed and will most likely be released sometime in 2002(just an estimate by this site).
