Majora's Mask Story The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, also known as Zelda Gaiden, is the sequel to Zelda 64 (Ocarina of Time). So far the storyline goes like this: After OOT(Ocarina of Time) Princess Zelda sets the time back so that Link is a child again to make up for the seven years he missed as Hero of Time. Majora's Mask is set 3 months after this happens. Next, Link is looking around in the forest when a strange figure called Skullkid says that he has stolen Epona. Skullkid escapes through a door and Link follows him. When Link goes through follows Skullkid(of course!) he finds himself in another realm. However, he also finds out that the realm is short lived, and that the moon is crashing toward it slowly. Link decided to save Epona and then leave the realm. he will meet familiar faces but all will not be quite the same. One important thing to remember in this game is that when like wears a mask, he is able to use a special ability for that character. Some have special abilities, and new instruments for Link to play. One factor in the game is that the moon is crashing down on the realm slowly and that you will only have a limited amount of time. Some may worry that they can’t beat it fast enough. You won’t though because you can turn back time to the start and the three-day cycle will begin again.
