Halloween Foosball News 'N Notes

There has been a lot of talk in recent weeks whether or not Keith's band, Smog, would perform at the 2004 Halloween Foosball Tournament.  Steve and Greg have both come out against the ideas, while Jim has neither fully supported or come out against it.  Corey is one HFT competitor who is in total support of the idea.  As of now the Halloween Foosball Committee is leaning towards allowing them the chance to perform.

If Keith's band does perform it would lead to an already stacked Halloween Foosball Tournament schedule that currently includes the 9th annual singles tournament, the 4th annual doubles tournament, Big Game IV between the Mister Cyrs and Greg-Angel Yackadoodles, and perhaps even a debate!  One major part of the 2003 agenda that never actually came to fruition, the first ever "Softball Big Game", has not been talked about much lately.  The Halloween Foosball Committee would love to have a softball game, and with the huge numbers expected to attend this year's event, it is certainly possible for that reason.  The biggest question mark is time.  Also there is a chance that the Red Sox will be playing a World Series game on October 30th which would cause a major reshuffling and streamlining of the schedule.

Regardless, the biggest star at the Halloween Foosball Tournament will be Figaro.

Nicky Ostis is expected to announce shortly that his friend, Mark Trout will be at the Halloween Foosball Tournament this year.

Corey was a bum today, but did paint some of the lockers in the boys locker room at the Greater Lowell Boys' & Girls' Club.

Speaking of club, Clubber Lang.
