White Chicken Chili
Ingredients:
3-4 boneless chicken breasts, cooked and cut into bite-size pieces
1 can white navy beans
1 can chicken broth
2 Tbsp. chicken soup base
1 can mushrooms or 1/2 cup fresh mushrooms
1 pint light cream
white pepper (to taste)
dash of salt
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1/4 cup milk
Preparation:
Mix first 8 ingredients in large pot or crock pot.
Simmer together 1-2 hours.
To thicken, melt butter in a small saucepan.
Add flour until smooth.
Gradually stir in milk.
Stir this mixture into above ingredients.
Simmer 1/2 to 1 hour.
Spoon into bowls and sprinkle your favorite shredded cheese on top.
