Vincent van
Gogh's Eternal Starry Night
The Darkness Of Daylight
To be or not to be, that had been the question. Where the Prince of Denmark turned back the poor artist had no fear. Dreams dark enough had clouded his life, any which might come in the infinite sleep held no greater terror than those he had lived with. And so, by his own hand, night fell.
The Starry Night
Darkness arrives
and Vincent van Gogh dreams in his eternal sleep of a universe filled with
insanely beautiful spirals, populated with beautifully insane inmates.
Above his tomb, but beneath the sky, an astronomer seeks the Pole Star
to navigate the turbulent heavens but can't find it and, not being able
to find it, names it Truth. But Heisenberg is uncertain and Schrodinger
takes a catnap while van Gogh's reverie touches upon his former existence
in a dreamlike insane asylum called Earth.
And, at last,
he knows peace.
