Waiting For Love

She walked into the room, her graceful form exuding femininity. How many woman have I looked at over the years? How many possible worlds have I seen in their beautiful eyes only to end up alone again? I've turned away from so many in my lifetime, fear made me choose to wait and hope. But there was something different about this women. Something final. She looked into my eyes, a tear followed the graceful curve of her cheek and fell onto the sheet of my bed as she pulled it over my head.
I guess I waited too long.
