Committed was directed by Lisa Krueger and was released early in 2000. Unfortunately, it was not widely released and the release was shortlived. Art Alexakis plays a car thief in the movie and is supposed to have given an amazing performance. In an opening scene, Art is playing in a band and his band members consist of Davey, Brian Lehfeldt (Everclear's ex-touring percussionist), and James Beaton (Everclear's touring keyboardist). They are playing in the background and hard to notice if you're not looking for it, so keep an eye out! Also, there is a character named Chicky in the movie who plays a bass solo onstage at one part. The person who provided that bass solo for the movie was Davey. It's out now on video so go rent it and try to find Davey! I'm sorry if any of this information is incorrect.
